Course Superintendents Report
It's been yet another frustrating week with all the wild weather the staff have been busy pumping bunkers and cleaning up all the fallen debris from the strong winds.
Before the weekend we will finish turfing behind the carpark which will tidy up that area and weather permitting, Iron will be applied to the fairways which will green them up for the Medal on Saturday.
Next week plans include installing more treated pine guide rails on a couple of bridges which was forced back a week due to bad weather we will also be servicing the irrigation system in readiness for the spring ahead.
The 11th green has had the protective cloth removed, the seed has germinated and is starting to establish however due to the time of the year it is a slow process. As for the 12th tee they will be ready for play as soon as the new path is installed hopefully in about 4 weeks.
